During your stay in Zadar, we certainly recommend a tour through the old city center that is full of cultural and historical sights. Walking along Kalelarga, the main street, you will feel like you went back to Ancient times. One of the most famous sights of the city is the church of St. Donatus located on the Forum and built in the 8th century BC. Today, the church of Sv. Donatus is a home of numerous cultural manifestations. From other cultural sights, there are the Cathedral of St. Stošije, Church of St. Mary, Five Wells square, Arsenal, Prince’s Palace, National Square, Crkva Sv. Šime, Garden of the Queen Jelena Madijevka, Park of Vladimir Nazor and many other unique attractions. From the Museum worth visiting, we recommend you: Gold and Silver of Zadar, Zadar Archaeological Museum, Zadar National Museum, Glass Museum, and Illusion Museum.

If you would like to explore the surroundings of the city of Zadar, we recommend you visit Nin, a small sweet medieval town that was awarded for the most romantic city of 2015. If you want to add an active note to your vacation, we recommend visiting Paklenica National Park, 42km away from Zadar. This National Park boasts numerous geomorphological forms and a variety of wildlife that you can meet by walking on beautiful, well-kept hiking and hiking trails. One of the pearls of the National Parks in Croatia is certainly the Plitvice Lakes which, since 1979, are on the UNESCO World Heritage list. National Park Plitvice Lakes consists of 16 cascading lakes and numerous waterfalls whose scenery really leaves breathless. We really recommend you to visit this National Park!

But apart from the Plitvice Lakes, in the vicinity of Zadar is also the National Park Krka. In the area of Krka National Park, you can see a variety of wildlife, and the beautiful waterfalls that make the whole park a natural karst phenomenon. Bicycle routes around the National Park are also arranged, so you can go biking with the tour. In the vicinity of all these attractions, you can visit the traditional Dalmatian tavern and taste the indigenous specialties such as Traditional Croatian roasted veal, Pašticada, Smokvenjak sweet, and drink a glass of good Dalmatian wine!
